Discovering your perfect diet is the key to an optimal healthy lifestyle. There is no one perfect diet that suits everybody. Fad diets or restricting a wide variety of foods is not a sustainable approach to long term health and vitality. Eating a variety of real foods and developing an emotional relationship with your food is essential for optimal long-term health.

Whether you are looking for a natural solution to manage an existing condition, or if you have your sights set on achieving optimum health. A body which lacks good quality fuel will struggle to function properly and over the years this will cause deterioration in overall health and well-being.

When I work with my clients I like to focus on educating about wholefood nutrition, with an emphasis on building a happy and healthy relationship with food and self. I also believe we need to incorporate other areas that may be influencing eating behaviour such as levels of stress, social influences, sleep quality and inadequate physical movement.


My biggest passion is helping to support those with their mental wellbeing, in particular depression and anxiety. I am also particularly interested in the trillions of bacteria located in our gut (called our microbiome), and the way these bugs impact our mental health and skin health.

For a long time now, we have always been told that depression and anxiety are due to a chemical imbalance in our brains which require lifelong medications to correct it. Whilst genetics can definitely have their part in the outcomes of whether an individual will develop a mental health condition, and medications can certainly help some, it is not the case for everyone and this approach is only addressing one small part in the web.

Mental health needs a multifactorial approach, one where we look at the individual’s genetic variants, exercise, lifestyle, nutritional deficiencies and or excesses, gut health, stress/trauma, environment, hormonal health, biochemical factors and support network.
